You are welcome to purchase books directly from us. We can usually have them to you within 4 to 6 days. You may also order them through the Ingram catalog. Due to Ingram’s inflexible, take-it-or-leave-it returns policy, we are not able to offer returns for books purchased through them.
Our Discount and Returns Schedule is as follows:

* All books must be in saleable condition - no exceptions. Books may be returned six months after purchase, but no later than eighteen months.
About Our Return Policy:
Like all small presses with very limited resources, fully returnable books place an extreme burden on our budget, and on the environment. It is a wasteful practice instituted by large corporate publishers, because they have the means to do so.
This policy of full-returnability encourages larger bookstores to over-order, assuring that they will have popular titles in stock, and that they will take little risk. Millions of these over-produced books end up in landfills, unread.
We, at The Habit of Rainy Nights Press, have made the decision that we will not be part of this system as it stands.
At the same time, we know that our friends who are small independent booksellers often rely on the returnability of books. We ask all bookstores to please understand, and take a small portion of the risk by becoming knowledgeable of your market and ordering carefully.
We realize that bucking the big guys is a risky decision, but we believe our products are worth it.
